Professional Associates RICHARD CRATE Richard started his career in the construction industry in 1980 and expanded his expertise into the insurance restoration industry in 1991. He is WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician); ASD (Applied Structural Drying Technician) and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) certified . Building on his expertise over the years, Richard has successfully completed numerous workshops and courses such as reconstruction/construction estimating, smoke, water and odour restoration and more, to remain at the leading edge of the insurance restoration industry. Richard is also one of the original owners of United Restoration Associates and continues to lend his expertise to First General Services to remain Eastern Ontario's preferred insurance restoration company. JERRY TIMMERMAN Jerry started his career in the restoration/construction industry in London, Ontario in 1970. Under Ellis-Don, Jerry received training and experience as Project Manager for various commercial projects. Jerry relocate to Ottawa in 1974 to work on the Bank of Canada construction project. He expanded his career into the insurance restoration industry in 1986. Jerry has provided United Restoration Associates with vast industry experience and technical knowledge since URA's inception in 1994. Jerry continues to help build First General Services and has been instrumental in making First General Services a leader in the insurance restoration industry. GERRY DENOMME Gerry started his career in the restoration industry, working for their family owned general contracting firm "Denomme and Sons" from Northern Ontario. He relocated to Ottawa in 1986 to work for a local construction/restoration supply company and then in 1993 took on a more insurance focused position. Since 1993 Gerry has been involved as an estimator/manager/general manager in the insurance restoration industry.
